Summary of credintials
I have a Higher Diploma in Counselling, in addition to raining as a Registered Nurse/Midwife, with nearly eleven years work experience in public health related issues.
By working with various organisations such as UNICEF, National AIDS Control Programme (NACP) and in hospitals and undertaking various courses in HIV/AIDS related issues I have gained a wide range of expertise and experience that include:
- Prevention of Mother to Child Transmission (PMTCT) of HIV and Community Mobilization.
- HIV/AIDS prevention and Home-Based Care
- training and counselling (both Generic and HIV related type of Counselling)
- maternal and child health
- emergency obstetric care
- consultation work with different organizations
