Projects Carried Out
The following are some of the projects I have been involved in the past 10 years.
- As a PMTCT Assistant project Officer with UNICEF I provided technical support in the acceleration of the Prevention of Mother to Child Transmission of HIV programme in Malawi.
- Community mobilization: Building the capacity of the districts and community to motivate partners to go for testing and counselling in context of prevention of HIV/AIDS.
- Scaling up of Male Involvement initiative
- Capacity building of the implementing facilities
- As a PMTCT and counselling Consultant I provided technical back-stop to CHAM and government facilities implementing PMTCT. Assisted in counselling trainings.
- Guided facilities in proposal development for expansion of PMTCT services.
- As a Counselling Officer I coordinated counselling services in the country, monitored and evaluated programmes, supervised services and conducted Counselling Testing trainings
- As a Home Based Coordinator I Trained volunteers in Home Based Care (HBC) and provided family planning.
